WIRING:

§          locate the two wires connected to the handlebar-mounted, engine run/stop rocker switch.

§          Follow the wires down below the handlebars and/or bodywork to find a suitable location to splice into one oF them.

§          Cut one of the wires, (the diagram below shows the + wire, but either one will work) and attach one of the supplied butt connectors to each end of it.

§          Next cut the longer wire loop attached to the bottom of the VORTEX Tether Switch, directly in the middle of the wire.

§          Now connect each of these ends into each of the open ends of the butt connectors.

§          Install the tether plug into the socket in the main switch and you are finished with the wiring.

IF YOU ARE USING THE TETHER SWITCH AS A MASTER SWITCH, ALWAYS PULL OUT THE PLUG BY THE PLUG ITSELF AND NOT THE CORD.

THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE WIRE AND PLUG.
